Last month, we replaced our wide-format roll-to-roll digital printer, the ‘Colorado 1650’, with the new ‘Colorado M5’. The investment continues our exceptional relationship with Canon but also highlights our commitment to offering the highest quality print with short lead times at competitive prices.
The M5 boasts the same print speeds as the 1650 (up to 159 square meters per hour) and can print both matt and gloss inks. It can print up to a maximum resolution of 1800dpi and can even build up layers of ink to create a textured design and feel, showing the power of its UV Gel ink technology. The M5 has half the print heads with double the number of nozzles, which increases the print quality, ensuring Easyfix offers the best possible print quality to our valued customers. The new printer also has reduced energy consumption to 2.3kW per hour.
